I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5
A Christian whose life is not reflecting the nature of Jesus is bound by the carnal nature. This person is giving lip service to the Lord, but is not receiving his spiritual strength from the Vine, Who is the Lord. He will eventually be cut off as a branch and thrown away.
Your daily actions, thoughts and conversation will show others where your strength is coming from. If you want increased spiritual strength and power from the Lord, you will have to spend more time studying your Bible, as well as talking to the Lord through prayer.
God wants you to apply His teachings to your lifestyle. He will increase His faith in you, and you will begin to see the vision He has for you, fulfilled right in front of you. Expect Him to start working in a greater way in your life.
